UCL Global Citizenship Programme

From 2 to 13 June 2014 I once again worked as a teaching assistant for the UCL Global Citizenship Programme and supervised students on the course ‘The Danube (Intercultural Interaction)‘. As part of the course, students learned about the multicultural history, past and present of the Danube from a variety of disciplinary perspectives (stretching from travel writing to international relations), learned one of the Danubian languages and completed their own little research projects connected to their chosen country (including a short film on Danubian citizens now living in London). You can find out more about their work by having a look at the course website: http://danubeonthames.wordpress.com
