Blogs & Twitter

Since the beginning of my PhD research, I have been an avid academic blogger and user of Twitter.

Academic blogging

presidential-power.comI am currently part of a group of political scientists with an interest in presidents and presidential politics around the world. Together we run the Presidential Power Blog at www.presidential-power.com, whereby I am responsible for covering the Baltic states, Central East Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary), Germany and Austria.

Between October 2010 and July 2013, I have also had my own academic blog on presidential activism in Central and Eastern Europe: www.presidentialactivism.com. While I currently focus my attention on the new collaborative blog, the archive still contains over a hundred posts.

I also occasionally write for other blogs and internet resources, including the UCL SSEES Research Blog, Crossing the Baltic, and New Eastern Europe.

Twitter

I am an active user of Twitter (@pres_activism & @PhilippKoeker) and tweet (and re-tweet) daily on presidents, parties, elections and corruption (mostly) in Europe. I also contribute to the Twitter feed of the Presidential Power Blog (@prespow).
